EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2024
The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2024 is an EU-wide regulation designed to ensure that all consumer products sold in the European Union are safe for consumers. It requires that all products meet stringent safety and labelling standards, regardless of whether they are sold directly or through online marketplaces. It also places a requirement upon "manufacturers" (in this case ourselves) to provide relevant safety information to consumers and, if they are not based in the EU, to appoint an EU-based and EU-registered "responsible person" (RP) to act on their behalf in matters of compliance and communication with the regulatory authorities.
Music Mentor Books is fully compliant with GPSR, and the relevant contact details appear below:
The regulation requires manufacturers to carry out risk assessments of all their products and, where applicable, to advise consumers of any potential risks and how to use the product safely.
Under normal or reasonably foreseeable conditions of use, including the actual duration of use, the risk rating for all our products is LOW. They do not present any risk, or only the minimum risks compatible with the product’s use, considered acceptable and consistent with a high level of protection of the health and safety of consumers.
If you have any safety concerns about any of our products, please contact us.
